Swedish kings and queens

A card-game for the whole family

Kungaspelet

Includes 52 cards with Swedish kings and queens from Queen Margaret (Valdemarsdotter) for King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. (Part Number 3143)

Guidelines

The game is to score as many points as possible by collecting “clans” or “families”. On the “house of cards” define who is included in each race. To “families” there are “queen” card which is indicated by the symbol 00 on the “house of cards”. Call sign hands the number of queens respectively. King had. At Queen cards out of his consort.

Mix and handing out 8 cards to each player. The rest of the cards are put in a pile face down. The player to the left of the dealer starts to ask for a card that is lacking in any race. You may request from anyone around the table. ex. “I want Erik XIV’s consort by Rebecca” or “I want Carl XIV Johan of Samuel”. If co-pillars have this card and sent the player may continue to ask until it becomes a no. Then the player may pick up a card from the pile on the table (in the Castle “), and the one who said ‘no’ may continue to ask of anyone. One should only ask for cards from any lineage or family you have on hand. When a player has a lineage or family put the cards on the table. The game continues until the pile is over and nobody has any cards left in hand.

To get a “dynasty” you need all the kings and queens reigning in a lineage, and also the associated Queen cards (where available). From the families Vasa, Holstein-Gottorp Bernadotte and you can even get a “family” if you have six cards from the same lineage included all of the associated Queen cards. For the Palatine family, and Frederick of Hesse, special scoring rules.

Is a “family” is already on the table, you can get bonus points. For example, if you get a card of the dynasty that has no associated Queen card, by putting the card in a bonushög front of his own family and ättkort. Is it a card with one or more consort symbols have to wait until you also have the corresponding cards queen (or queen card) before you can put the cards in the bonus pile.
